I usually sat in the back as well, also closer to the exit.

Interestingly enough, I had a teacher approach me a while ago in one of my classes and talk to me about how I wasn't putting too much out there in terms of trying in his class. I asked why he would think that and he said it was because I am always near the back of the class. I then explained to him that I use a laptop to take notes and as this is my last class of the day, it is usually low on batteries and needs to be charged to stay alive. The only outlet was on the back wall of the classroom.
Its funny how big of a role non-verbal communication can play in classroom life! |
